The most effective shape in the Jeweler’s mix
The angle is the most effective element of the Jeweler’s mix because of its shape. The other two elements, balls and ballcones, lack the pointed angle shape that does the work where the media touches your tumbling items. At the same time, the angle has both rounded and flat surfaces, so it reaches corners, edges and flat areas.
Angles alone or the full mix?
We believe the angle alone is more effective than the complete Jeweler’s mix in most applications. If you want one stainless steel media that does most jobs, start with angles.
How to use it
Use angles for metal cleaning in a rotary tumbler. Add water and a burnishing compound or a few drops of soap, then tumble your metal pieces with the shot.
Reusable
Stainless steel does not rust. Rinse and dry the shot after each run and you can use it again and again.
