Make that watery shine on your polished rocks. This ultimate grade white fused aluminum oxide is an 8000 grit polish, with particles under 2 microns, for the brightest possible finish on your tumbled stones.
Common uses:
- The final polish step: after silicon carbide 500 pre-polish, for a glassy shine on agate, jasper and quartz.
- A finer finish than standard polish: for stones that look good but not quite great after a regular polish.
- Re-polishing: bring back the shine on stones that have dulled or show light haze.
- Rotary or vibratory: works in both, and is appropriate for most rocks you are polishing.

How much to use: about 2 tablespoons per pound of rock in a rotary tumbler, with clean plastic pellets, for about 7 days. Clean the barrel thoroughly before the polish step: a single grain of coarse grit can haze the batch. For an extra-bright finish, try a short burnishing run afterwards.
